BALANCE OPTIMIZATION CONNECTION

Deepening our connection to the land, guiding our bodies back to balance, , and optimizing our potential

Who can benefit

Connection

Connection is where the work begins. It’s about remembering our relationship with the body, the mind, and the natural world. We are not separate from the environment we live in, we are shaped by it. This step brings awareness, grounding, and a more rooted way of living.

Balance

From that place of connection, we guide the body back to balance. Balance is the process of restoring the body to its natural state of vitality by supporting the gut at its root. As the gut is restored, the body’s innate intelligence and interconnected systems come back into alignment.

Optimization

Connection comes first. From there, the body begins to find its way back to balance. And once balance is established, we can move into optimization, enhancing how you feel, think, and function. You don’t have to be unwell to want to feel better. Optimization happens when the mind and body are connected and working together.

What is HTMA testing?

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is a non-invasive test that looks at the mineral and heavy metal content stored in your hair over time. Unlike bloodwork, which shows a snapshot of what’s happening in the moment, HTMA reveals long-term patterns in nutrient status, mineral imbalances, and heavy metal accumulation.

At foundedbyflora, we use HTMA testing to help you understand why your body may feel out of balance—and what support it truly needs to restore harmony.

What HTMA Can Reveal

  • Essential mineral deficiencies and excesses

  • Heavy metal exposure and detox burden

  • Stress and adrenal patterns

  • Metabolic and energy trends

  • Mineral ratios that influence hormones and nervous system balance

These patterns help guide personalized nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement support - no guesswork required.

How it works:

1.Collect a small hair sample at home (kit and instruction will be sent)

2. Mail it to our certified lab for analysis.

3. Meet with me for an in-depth, personalized results session

4.Receive a personalized plan to address root causes and move forward with confidence.

Holistic Practitioner and Holistic Nutritionist

The gut sends more messages to the brain than the brain sends to the gut.

The gut is foundational to the body’s systems. It’s more than just digestion, it plays a vital role in how you feel, think, and function every day.

Often referred to as the “second brain” it helps regulate mood, energy, and clarity, and is where the signals we experience as intuition, our “gut feelings” originate.

When we support the gut, we support not only physical health, but emotional balance, clarity, and intuition.

This is why I focus on gut health. When the gut is out of balance something increasingly common due to modern diet, antibiotics, and medical interventions, the rest follows. Affecting everything from digestion to your innate sense of knowing.

My work begins here: helping you restore balance and reconnect to the intelligence within and without, so you can better tune into both your physical body and intuitive mind.

Taking care of your gut is one of the most impactful things you can do. Not just to feel better, but to think more clearly, know more deeply, and receive more fully.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1: Why is gut health so important for overall well being?

The gut is the foundation of the body’s internal environment. It plays a central role in digestion, nutrient absorption, immune function, inflammation regulation, and energy production. When the gut is out of balance, these systems are affected, which can show up as fatigue, skin issues, brain fog, mood changes, and more. Supporting gut health creates the conditions for the rest of the body to function more efficiently and in greater harmony.

Question 2: What is the gut brain connection?

The gut and brain are in constant communication through a complex network of nerves, hormones, and biochemical signals. In fact, the gut sends more signals to the brain than the brain sends to the gut. This connection influences mood, stress response, focus, and emotional regulation. The gut is also home to a large portion of the body’s neurotransmitter activity, which is why gut balance is so closely linked to mental clarity and emotional wellbeing.

Question 3: How is your approach different from conventional healthcare?

Conventional healthcare often focuses on managing symptoms after they appear. This approach works at the root level by looking at how the gut, environment, and lifestyle interact to influence overall health. Instead of isolating symptoms, it views the body as an interconnected system. The goal is not just to address what’s happening on the surface, but to support the underlying conditions that allow the body to regulate, repair, and restore itself more effectively.

Question 4: How do you support both physical and intuitive healing?

Physical health and intuitive awareness are not separate—they are deeply connected. When the gut and nervous system are supported, the body becomes more regulated and less reactive, which creates space for greater clarity and internal awareness. As physical balance is restored, many people begin to notice improved intuition, decision-making, and a stronger sense of internal “knowing.” The work focuses on restoring that baseline balance so both the body’s physical systems and inner signals can be experienced more clearly and reliably.
